Alaina Alexander sang “Not Ready To Make Nice” dedicated to her mom. Her beautiful face compensates to her weak vibrato. Although the judges didn’t like it, for me it was ok. Just a little shaky towards the end though.

Randy Jackson said “When you went up for the chorus, the tuning and the pitch just went away.” Paula Abdul said “The pitch and you probably couldn’t hear it from where you are was a little bit off.” Simon Cowell said “It was like Randy taking part in a 100 meter sprint, i.e. three quarters of the way through the race he would run out of steam and that’s exactly what happened, you ran out of steam three quarters of the way.”
